SRCC organises workshop for Civil Services aspirants

JAMMU, Oct 4: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) today organised a workshop to guide the Civil Services aspirants preparing for the competitive examination.
The workshop dealt with basic queries as to how to prepare for the examination amidst detailed discussion on the syllabus and the sources to cover the topics.
Visiting faculty from Delhi, Gautam Pandey was the resource person, who elaborated the relevant sources for the study material and the strategies that an aspirant could adopt for them to clear this examination.
In this detailed workshop, all the four papers of the General Studies were covered by the faculty, who also took the queries from the aspirants joining the online workshop especially .He also focussed on the convergence and integration of the dynamic part with the static part and preparation for the prelims and the mains simultaneously thereby saving time.
“The SR College has never left the Civil Services students alone while preparing for the examinations. Efforts have been made to keep them in touch with those experts faculties from within J&K and outside, especially in this difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic,” said Centre Head, Praful Sharma.
