Former Health Ministers responsible for miserable condition of GMC: JWAM

JAMMU, Oct 4: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the poor medicare services at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
The protest was led by JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple who quoted CAG report to allege bungling by Drugs and Equipments Purchase Committees in the erstwhile J&K State.
Dimple claimed that all the former J&K Health Ministers in last 10 years are responsible for the present miserable condition of GMC.
He expressed concern over the deaths in GMC Jammu due to shortage of oxygen and ventilators and also took a dig at the infighting of doctors.
The JWAM leader alleged that health insurance scheme announced by LG Manoj Sinha for all the people of J&K is a hoax as none is getting benefit from it.
He demanded starting of OPD services at Jammu AIIMS as well as in Super Specialist Hospital Jammu.
Swarn Singh, Papu Virdi, Daleep Kumar, Sham Lala Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Kala Singh, Sham Dogra, Sanjay Gupta and others were also present in the protest.
