SAMBA, Oct 5: District Police Samba today reunited a girl with her parents who was missing from her home since September 25 this year.
Police said on the basis of a written complaint received at Police Station, (PS) Ramgarh from the father of missing girl, a resident of Trindian Ramgarh, that his daughter went missing from home during wee hours of 25.09.2020. All efforts were made by him but the whereabouts of the missing girl could not be ascertained.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 21 dated 25.09.2020 was registered at PS Ramgarh and search started to trace out the said missing girl.
With continuous and strenuous efforts and by the search in the suspicious locations in and out of district made by the police team of PS Ramgarh, the missing girl was recovered from the Bus Stand Katra, Reasi.
Today after completing all the legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family members at PS Ramgarh
The family members expressed gratitude to District Police Samba in reuniting missing girl with the family. Accordingly the said missing report was closed, police said.
