UDHAMPUR, Oct 6: IGP Security J&K and Director Police Academy Udhampur Dr SD Singh Jamwal interacted with Probationer DySPs and Sub-Inspectors who are undergoing one year basic training course at Police Academy here on the completion of syllabus of their indoor and outdoor training.
While interacting with the trainee officers, Dr Jamwal stressed upon to work hard and pull their socks up before appearing in their final examinations for which PHQ J&K has already constituted a separate Examination Board headed by Danesh Rana, IGP, Armed/IR Jammu.
Dr Jamwal said that from the administrative side lot of efforts have been made during the year to make available all basic training infrastructure, arrange best faculty and provide all basic amenities to facilitate them to gain excellent training at Police Academy.
He also reminded of disruption of their training due to COVID-19 pandemic for about 4 months and said that the trainee officers have achieved a good knowledge to deal with law and order situation and other allied duties during this period in their respective districts.
Dr Jamwal emphasized on exhibition of high quality discipline and good behavior by them in the training institute as well in the society after passing out from Police Academy.
Jamwal was accompanied by Mohan Lal, (SSP) Assistant Director (Outdoor/Indoor), Mohammad Faisal Qureshi (SSP) Assistant Director (Admn), Ashish Rathore, CPO Chief Law Instructor, KK Sharma DySP (Q), Suraj Singh DySP (R&D), Ramesh Kataria DySP (S) Administrative Officer and Sunmati Gupta DySP (Outdoor).
