JKMEF deputation meets DHS, projects demands

JAMMU, Oct 8: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation (JKMEF) led by Sushil Sudan, J&K president of the Federation met Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu Dr Renu Sharma in her office and discussed burning issues of the employees of Health Department of Jammu province.
During the meeting, the deputation members laid special emphasis on holding the Departmental Promotion Committee of various categories of the employees. The Director listened to the demands of the deputation members patiently and in principle agreed that the DPC of the most of the categories of health employees will be held in the last week of November.
The other demands discussed in the meeting were preparation of final seniority list of all categories, inclusion of Sanitary Inspectors category for DPC, training of field workers of Malaria Department and training of Female Multipurpose Health Workers to Lady Health Visitor, besides having provision of wash room with in complex of Directorate.
Officers present in the meeting were Dr Seema Gupta Deputy Director Health Services (Scheme), Dr Deepak Kapoor Assistant Director Rehbar-e-Sehat and other officials from the establishment of Directorate.
Sushil Sudan was accompanied by Choudhary Jarnail Singh (working president JKGPA), Kamal Jit Sawhney (general secretary JKGPA), Jaswinder Singh (president OT Tech), Mohd Nadeem (president Sanitary Inspectors), S R P Singh, Neelam Kumari (president JKFMPHWA), Mohd Aslam (president, Lab Tech), Parafulat Singh (secretary general JKMEF), Darminder Singh, Pawan Singh (president, JKBHWA) and others.
