Dy MS SMGS Hospital awarded for his services during COVID mgmt

JAMMU, Oct 8: Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital Jammu has been awarded by Financial Commissioner (FC), Health and Medical Education Department, Atal Dulloo for his dedicated services during COVID-19 pandemic.
He was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation by the FC in recognition of his efforts and work done in SMGS Hospital for the patients while fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
The FC recognized and appreciated that a total of 10,927 non-COVID deliveries have been conducted successfully in last 6 months during pandemic in SMGS Hospital due to better coordination of Dr Rakesh Sharma with administrative team and clinical faculty members.
Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma demonstrated an excellent team work with clinical and non-clinical staff which is evident from the fact that a total of 10,702 ultrasounds were conducted from total 22,701 in-patient non-COVID admissions during last six months.
Besides, approximately 100 deliveries were conducted successfully in COVID area of SMGS Hospital in last six months with the untiring efforts of Dr Sharma and his team. Moreover, the critical infants and children have been getting unhindered treatment in COVID area of SMGS Hospital with his efforts.
