JAMMU, Apr 25: On the basis of inquiry ordered by DIG Udhampur-Reasi range Gareeb Dass, Incharge SSP Udhampur Benam Tosh today ordered suspension of two police constables and attached an ASI for demanding corruption in two different cases.
In one case, the police officials had taken bribe for appointment of a youth as SPO in Police Department while in another case they had sought corruption for registration of a case.
On the basis of inquiry, two police constables have been suspended while the Munshi has been attached, police sources said.
After the inquiry, two police constables—Vikram Singh and Majid Ahmad were suspended while ASI Shakeel Ahmad, Munshi was attached to the DPL Udhampur.
The charges against them were established during the inquiry, sources said.
