BJP committed to welfare of SCs: Sat

JAMMMU, Oct 9: Terming the BJP rule as historic for SCs, former president BJP J&K, Sat Sharma (CA) said that BJP is committed for welfare of SCs and other communities which were ignored by Congress during its tenure.
Addressing a programme at the party office Jammu West here where dozens of people belonging to SC community joined the party fold, Sat said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi improved the lifestyle of downtrodden across the country who were ignored before 2014.
District president BJP, Jammu West, Munish Khajuria, district Sangathan Mantri, Mohan Singh Rana and district general secretary, Karan Sharma. The program was held under the leadership of district president SC Morcha, Yash Pal Shivgotra were also present on the occasion.
While welcoming the new entrants, Sat Sharma said in the present scenario there are dozens of Centrally sponsored schemes which played a major role in uplifting the SCs and other communities in the country. Terming Bhim Rao Ambedkar as one of the greatest pillars who worked for improving the condition of downtrodden, Sharma said his role can never be forgotten and his contributions for these communities are immense and cannot be expressed in words. He also highlighted the Modi Government’s schemes for the welfare of SCs including scholarship schemes for the children, entrepreneurship programs for SC community youth and other schemes which brought major reforms in upbringing of the community. He asked the new entrants as well to strengthen organization at grass root level and promote the policies of Modi Government for welfare of SCs.
Munish Khajuria said that despite being misled by Congress, SC community all across the country voted for BJP with a trust and their trust will never be broken. He said other parties used them for their personal vote bank but it was BJP who right from day one is working on improving their lifestyle across the country and it has brought results also where many SCs are availing benefits of various Central sponsored schemes.
Mohan Singh Rana and Karan Sharma highlighted the difference between BJP and Congress rule concerning the downtrodden and stated that now the country is united against the negative agenda of Congress and its allies.
Yash Pal complimented the BJP leadership and PM for thinking about the welfare of SCs.
District Social Media incharge, Satyabhushan Dubey, Mandal vice president, Rajesh Saini, TR Shariya, Rakesh Kumar, Bablu Chand, Balwant Kumar, Krishna Lal, Joginder Lal, Krishan Lal, Pura Chand, Gian Chand, Ajay Kumar, Prithvi Kumar, Des Raj and others were also present.
