IndianOil ensures adequate fuel supplies for J&K UT

NEW DELHI, Oct 10: IndianOil has rushed in fuel supplies to the UT of J&K to ease the fuel availability.
Owing to the ongoing rail blockade in Punjab, the movement of petrol and diesel through railway wagons had been affected over the last one week.
In order to cater to the demand of petroleum products in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, road movement of POL products has been organized from its supply locations at Jalandhar, Una, Ambala and Bathinda.
The road movement of products will continue till situation normalises.
IndianOil, along with BPC and HPC are operating their supply locations on extended hours to ensure that there is no paucity of fuels in J&K.
IndianOil’s Executive Director, in- charge of Punjab, Himachal and J&K Sujoy Choudhury has requested the public not to pay heed to rumours of fuel shortage and not indulge in panic buying of petroleum products. The three PSU Oil Marketing Companies are firmly committed to ensuring adequate supply of petroleum products.
