KATHUA, Oct 12: An impressive function was held today at Basohli tehsil of Kathua to announce the newly formed Shakha Sabhas in which presidents and vice presidents of the basic units of Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, J&K were honoured and enshrined the responsibility of uplifting the community and society in general.
Addressing the gathering of Rajput Sabha, vetrans and youth, Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, general secretary and chief spokesperson of SAKRSJK, appealed all to work in unison for a larger strength and empowerment of the biradari. He said that a planned conspiracy was hatched by previous governments to suppress the Rajput community which in turn weakened society. “Kshatriyas being the rulers had an edge over others to govern the society with equality and justice which was later destroyed by narrow minded administrators”, said Abhijeet Singh.
“Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, J&K was established by Raja Ram Singh Ji in 1907 for furtherance of community reforms on a social platform. The vision of this Sabha was demonstrated in civil society and later other community Sabhas were formed on similar lines for a strong bonding amongst themselves”, said Ashish Katoch, organising secretary, SAKRSJK.
