MHAC Nagbani remembers Maharaja Hari Singh

Hawan being performed to mark the death anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh at MHAC Nagbani on Friday.

JAMMU, Apr 26: A special assembly was organized today by  MHAC Nagbani to mark the death anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
A Hawan was organized on the occasion which was attended by Captain Dewan Singh, Principal, Alok Betab, all faculty members, students and administrative staff. A melodious Bhajan and Mantras were presented by students after the Hawan.
In his speech, Principal informed that the land for the school was donated by Maharaja,  who was the biggest donor of his times, for orphans.
“This school is unlike normal schools. It is not a money minting hub. The fee paid by the students is utilized to provide educations to 250 such students who have been completely adopted by the school”, he said.
Captain Dewan Singh called him the most glorious rulers of his time. He remembered him with a heavy heart and recalled incidents from his lifetime which inspired the students and staff members.
The ceremony ended with chanting of Mantras.
