Sudha’s ‘Mind , Body and Soul’ hits stands

JAMMU, Apr 26: Sudha Anjum’s book of poetry “Mind, Body and Soul” hits the stands today.
While talking about Sudha Anjum and her poetry Prof Garima Gupta of University of Jammu describes her an inspired poet. The profundity of her thoughts and emotions mesmerizes the reader and carries him or her beyond the language of expression, she added.
She said the genuine feelings strike at the heart of the reader who partakes in all the expressions of love, happiness, dejection, hope and faith. It is a beautiful journey that Ms Anjum traces in these poems and she seems to be a blessed daughter of muse.
Speaking about the book Lakshmi Kant Upadhyay a well known scholar terms Sudha Anjum a renowned writer who has written stories on the present problems in Kashmir there by highlighting the root cause of bloodshed in Valley. She has a lot of love for her nation as well as Kashmir who in her writings has given a message that the colour of blood of every human being is same. She has tried to foster the bonds of different communities by her stories and ghazals, he added.
The Body Mind and Soul is a collection of poems based on inner feelings of the poetess. These collection of poems reflect human emotions, grief and love for humanity. The collection of poems gives a message of brotherhood, harmony and peace.
Commenting on Sudaha’s poetry Prof Arinder Singh said “blessed is the nation that has such literary figures to inspire and lead’’.
He said the author’s life is like a bell with many echoes. The one note it sounds, again and again is the note of simplicity and the Paragon of simplicity.
