JAMMU, Oct 14: Four persons were arrested in attempt to murder case.
As per police sources, yesterday an information was received at Police Station Nowabad that a person namely Vishav Singh, son of Vikram Singh of Pata Paloura district Jammu has been attacked with sharp edged weapons at Indira theatre Canal road that caused serious injuries to him.
On this information, a case under FIR Number 128/2020 under Section 307/34 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Nowabad Jammu and special teams were constituted to arrest the accused.
The teams on the basis of CCTV cameras and other evidences, conducted raids at different places and after hectic efforts, apprehended four accused involved in the case.
The arrested persons were identified as Vicky Kumar alias Dazzler, son of Shalo Ram, Mohit Kumar alias Dully, son of Shalo Ram, Shalo Ram, son of Chaman Lal and Mukul Kalotra, son of Bharat Bhushan, all residents of Resham Garh Colony District Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that Vicky and Mukul are also involved in assault case registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
Further investigation into the case is going on to ascertain the reason behind attack on the victim.
Police team led by SHO Nowabad Inspector Deepak Jasrotia and assisted by Incharge Police Post Talab Tillo SI Kali Charan made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Jammu Swati Sharma.
