JAMMU, Apr 26: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last over eight years.
Police spokesman said that, an absconder identified as Manjeet Singh, son of Raghubir Singh of Malik Market, was involved in black marketing, the case of which was registered at Trikuta Nagar police station in the year 2005.
On inputs, police party from Trikuta Nagar police station led by SHO Chanchal Singh conducted a raid and arrested the absconder, he said.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
