BLSKS organizes awareness programme ‘COVID-19 warriors’

JAMMU, Oct 16: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production organized the programme ‘COVID-19 warriors’ on the theme ‘Health is Wealth’.
Chief Guest in the programme was V.K Magotra, Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity while Dr Anju Dogra, Registrar Health Department, J&K; Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K and R.P Amla, Event Director were guests of honour.
Special awareness items prepared on the theme ‘Vishanu Kola Bacho’, ‘Saaf Sfai Badi Zaroori’ etc along with skits, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses about Coronavirus.
The songs presented in the programme were written by M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS and music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, BLSKS Music Instructor.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest asked the gathering to avoid close contact with people who are sick.
He also stressed on maintaining social distancing at public places and cleaning hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
The BLSKS artists also made the masses aware by visiting door-to-door.
K.K Joshi, Vice Chairman BLSKS explained aims and objectives of the programme.
The singers, musician, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute who participated in the programme were K.K Joshi, M.C Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Bindia Arora, Nisha Okheda, Chahat Chadha, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Sunil Kumar, Mohd Afroz and others.
