UDHAMPUR, Oct 17: Ramnagar Police rescued 15 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Ramnagar during patrolling near Samnabanj area rescued 6 bovine animals from the possession of a man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Lal Hussain, son of Munnu Din of Prey, Ramnagar.
In another case, a team from Police Station Ramnagar during checking at Ramnagar-Dalsar road rescued 9 bovine animals from the possession of a man and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Alam Din, son of Bashir Ahmed of Kannah.
Two cases under relevant section of law have been registered at Police Station Ramnagar and investigation started.
