SUF extends gratitude to RS MP for raising voice for Punjabi

JAMMU, Oct 18: An emergency meeting of various Sikh organizations in J&K under the chairmanship of Sudershan Singh Wazir, chairman Sikh United Front J&K an amalgam of various Sikh organizations held here the members extended gratitude to Manish Tiwari, MP in Rajya Sabha from Anandpur Sahib Punjab for raising voice for inclusion of Punjabi language as official language in J&K UT.
While addressing a meeting Wazir showed anguished over the step motherly treatment of Union Government to the Punjabi speaking people of J&K UT by keeping Punjabi language out of official languages.
The Union Government declared English, Urdu, Hindi, Kashmiri and Dogri as official languages and Punjabi has been kept out of the official languages.
The Govt on one hand announced new education policy and Moreover, the Jammu Kashmir Sikh United Front appealed to all the Punjabi loving people of Jammu Kashmir to quit the BJP and resign from their respective posts like MLAs, MLCs, Corporators, Sarpanches, Panches, and holding any post of any executive body in BJP party otherwise the coming generation will not spare you.
It was also decided that if the Punjabi language will not be included as official language we shall do our level best to keep BJP out of the Govt.
Prominent among those who participated in the meeting and raised their voice for the cause included, Dayal Singh Wazir, Darbinder Singh, Mohinder Singh, Rajinder Singh, Raja Singh Sarpanch member DGPC Jammu, Ravinder Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Prof. Yudhvir Singh Corporator, Gajan Singh, Charanjeet Singh Bali, Paramjit Singh Raina, Kulwant Singh Khajuria , Kuldeep Kour, Gurmeet Kour, Surinder Singh Kala, Surjeet Singh Kukoo, Harpreet Singh Chhotu and Manmohan Singh.
