JAMMU, Oct 25: Chinore police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, on October 15 this year, a complaint was lodged by a man hailing from District Poonch, presently at Bantalab with Police Post Chinore stating that on October 13, her minor daughter went to market but did not return back home and had suspicion that some unknown persons had kidnapped her daughter.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 297/2020 under section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
After hectic efforts and with technical assistance, a team from Chinore Police Post rescued the minor girl from Ludhiana and arrested the abductor, who was identified as Altaf Ahmed, son of Abdul Khaliq of Kalar Karal Surankote District Poonch.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Chinore SI Deepak Bharti and assisted by ASI Bashir Ahmed rescued the girl and arrested the abductor under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh, SDPO Domana Kosheen koul and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
