KATHUA, Oct 27: Tightening noose on the bovine smugglers, on a specific information regarding bovine smuggling, a naka was laid on NHW in the early morning at about 0400 hours by officials of Police Station, Rajbagh in Kathua district. During checking two vehicles, one Junga 407 bearing Registration Number JK08B-8605 and one Mahindra Bolero bearing Registration No. PB02DQ-8643 coming from Kathua towards Jammu were stopped for checking.
As both vehicles stopped at a certain distance and when checked, it was found that they were loaded with a total of nine bovines which were loaded mercilessly with ropes and without any legal transportation permission for carrying these bovine animals. In this regard a case FIR No. 191/2020 u/s 188/IPC and 11/PCA act was registered at Police Station Rajbagh and investigation taken up.
