JAMMU, Oct 27: A spare parts shop was damaged in fire near Soul area of Akhnoor.
As per police sources, fire broke out at M/s Salgotra Traders–a spare parts shop owned by Manti Salgotra, son of Baldev Raj, a resident of Nawa Khu near Soul area of Akhnoor probably due to short circuit.
On getting information, police team led by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tender reached the spot and started operation to douse the flames. The fire was brought under control after sometime.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Akhnoor Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
