AKHNOOR, Oct 30: Municipal Councillor Ward-6, Rakesh Malhotra of Municipal Committee (MC) Akhnoor along with Vice President MC Akhnoor, Amita Gupta and Councillors Deepak Mani, Rashmi Kumari and Depesh Singh today started construction work of lane and drain in Ward-6 with an estimate cost of Rs. 2 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Malhotra assured the public of his ward that as per his poll promises he is leaving no stone unturned for the development of his Ward.
He said earlier he got replaced the old PDD wires, regulated drinking water and electricity supply and now he is working to provide better lanes and drains in the Ward.
Malhotra assured the locals that quality work will be done and instructed the contractor to use best quality material in the work.
He also said that he gives special attention to grievances of public in his Ward.
Others present on the occasion were Bharat Bhushan, senior BJP leader, Jugal Gupta, Anil Sharma, Rajesh Bhalla, Ankush Gupta, Sonu Malhotra and many residents of Ward-6.
