JAMMU, Oct 31: The Joint Action Committee of General Category, comprising of several social organizations today cautioned JKRCEA against spinning venom against others and launch mis-information campaign for their vested interests.
In a meeting of the JAC held here, the speakers expressed strong exception to the mis-information and smear campaign by some members of reserved category empowered alliance who are attempting to go to the extent of contempt of apex court for fulfillment of their illegitimate demand of seeking reservation in promotions and also spinning venom against some bureaucrats for their vested interests.
The JAC alleged that such people have no concern with the down trodden class of society who are real sufferers of apathy due to their economic condition irrespective of their caste. It is completely illogical on their part to seek reservation in promotions when already the matter has been dealt in depth by the JK High Court as well as by the apex court.
They alleged that Alliance through pressure tactics on eve of Darbar move, is trying to draw favour from the Government without any legitimate background. The JAC flayed the opinion of the reserved category empowered alliance wherein it is seeking a fast promotion for similarly appointed persons of reserved categories vis- a- vis the general category employees.
The members said that JAC shall fight tirelessly for the equality and justice for the masses and not let the fringe elements to sabotage the Rule of Law. The Joint Action Committee seeks to impress upon that those occupying constitutional positions must desist from such approach and allow the law to take its course.
Prominent among those present were Ved Prakash Sharma, president Brahman Sabha, Bishan Singh general secretary Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Ramesh Gupta, president Mahajan Sabha and others.
