JAMMU, Nov 8: Yuva Jat Manch Bharat (YJMB) has flayed the BJP led Government at Centre for allegedly betraying armed forces with its proposal to reduce pension entitlements for personnel who have served for less than 35 years.
In a handout, Nimrandeep Singh, president YJMB J&K claimed that BJP led Government first betrayed farmers with anti-farm bills and now the soldiers by planning to cut their pensions.
“Armed forces sacrifice their lives and everything for the nation and this is the reward they are getting in return from the BJP led Government,” he maintained adding that BJP rakes nationalism only to get votes.
Singh also said that YJMB under the leadership of their National President, Karan Singh Duddi is standing shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces to fight for their rights as people breathe peacefully due to the services rendered by the security forces by guarding the borders of the nation.
He also said that BJP has hurt the sentiments of nationalist people and it will not be tolerated at any cost.
The YJMB leader said there will be agitations if any attempt is made to cut pension of soldiers.
