RAMBAN, Nov 8: Police arrested a man along with 54 quarters of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Ramban apprehended a man along with 54 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Sajad Ahmed Sheikh, son of Gulzar Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Panzoo Tehsil Dooru District Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 178/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Pardeep Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Rajinder Singh Chib, Additional SP Ramban Rajni Sharma and SSP Ramban Haseeb-ur-Rehman.
