JAMMU, Apr 30: Dr Noor Ali, Associate Prof has become the new Head of the Cardio-Vascular and Thorosic Surgery (CVTS) Department of Government Medical College, which will be made functional in Super Specialty Hospital from tomorrow.
Dr Ali did his MBBS from Jammu University in 1984, followed by Master of General Surgery from the same institution and MCh in CVTS from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre (PGI), Chandigarh in 1990.
He joined District Hospital Udhampur where he was associated with heart surgery. Thereafter, he joined as senior registrar/ consultant, CVTS, SKIMS, Soura Kashmir for a period of one year. He joined GMC on substantive post of Lecturer in Department of Surgery/ CVTS, GMC in 2003.
He has attended various national and international conferences and presented various scientific research papers and also chaired various scientific session.
