Senior journalist dies of cardiac arrest

Srinagar, Nov 20: A senior journalist today died due to cardiac arrest, leaving the fraternity in utter shock and despair.
Mudasir Ali, hailing from Chrar-e-Sharief area of district Budgam, has been working with Greater Kashmir throughout.
He joined the organisation while he was pursuing his post-graduation in media studies at the University of Kashmir.
The news of his death was shared by his brother on the social media. Media organizations and politicians termed his untimely death as loss to the journalism in Kashmir.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha condoled his untimely demise. In his message, the Lt Governor said: “Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate demise of young journalist Mudasir Ali. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends and colleagues.”
Kashmir Press Club in a statement expressed grief over the sudden demise of Mudasir Ali.
