6 bovines rescued, 4 arrested

RAJOURI, Nov 20: Police rescued 6 bovine animals and arrested four persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sunderbani Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Tata load carrier bearing registration number JK02BK-2515.
During checking, police team rescued 2 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver of the vehicle, who was identified as Chander Mohan Sharma, son of Madan Lal of Bhambla, District Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 124/2020 under sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Sunderbani Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Budhal Police Station during checking at Samote apprehended one person identified as Mohammad Qasim, son of Chandi and resident of Kewal along with two others while smuggling four bovine animals to Kashmir by foot.
A case under FIR Number 92/2020 under Section 188 IPC has been registered at Budhal Police Station and investigation started.
