LONDON, May 25: Singer Elton John has canceled his Las Vegas shows after being hospitalised with serious respiratory infection.
John, 65, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles around 6 am yesterday morning. He is reportedly released from hospital after undergoing required treatment, reported Daily Mail.
Doctors told the singer to to have complete rest for a week after which he decided to cancel four concerts of his Million Dollar Piano residency at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace, which scheduled for the weekend.
“It feels strange not to be able to perform these Million Dollar Piano concerts at the Colosseum. All I can say to the fans is sorry I can’t be with you,” he said.
Earlier, Elton had canceled two concerts in February, after suffering food poisoning. (PTI)
