JAMMU, May 1: Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu, S R Gandhi today rejected the bail application of one Mohd Sadiq, son of Noor Hussain of Sidhra, who was allegedly involved in kidnapping and rape case.
After hearing CPO Sanjay Kohli, who resisted the bail application on the grounds that the offence was heinous and the investigation was at initial stage, the Court observed, “rape undoubtedly is a serious offence and has evoked wide spread condemnation by the public”. Accordingly, the Court rejected the bail application.
