SAMBA, May 1: Samba Police has registered a case against Manik Sharma of Sapwal on the basis of a written complaint lodged by father of a girl for outraging the modesty of his 17 year old daughter who is mentally ill by Manik Sharma.
According to reports, the modesty of a mentally retarded girl of Sapwal was outraged whose father is a Pujari in a local temple by Manik Sharma of same village some days back.
However some people tried to hush up the case and the local Sarpanch tried to make negotiations with the father of the girl. But this evening the Pujari turned down their request and lodged an FIR in PS Samba.
The police has started investigations but no arrest was made till last reports came in.
