JAMMU, May 1: The body of a deaf and dumb youth was recovered from canal in RS Pura.
Police spokesman said that, body of 25-year-old Sham Lal of Dalaid, was recovered from canal in village Kothi, falling under the jurisdiction of RS Pura police station.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after postmortem it was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case has been registered at RS Pura police station and investigation started.
