RAJOURI, May 1: Two horses, 15 sheep and 25 chickens of a villagers were charred to death in a mysterious fire at his residence in Thanna Mandi area last night.
A police spokesman said that mysterious fire took place in the house of one Abdul Ghani, son of Lal Hussain at Rajdani Bagla Saroola village in Thanna Mandi last night. Before the incident, the power to the area was snapped and then his house was set ablaze. The family members escaped to the safety but their two horses, 15 sheep/goats and 25 chickens were killed in fire incident.
Police party led by SHO Zakir Hussain reached the spot and started investigation. The police also found an empty gallon of petrol near the house. SDPO Thanna Mandi Najeeb-ur-Rehman was supervising the investigation into the case. The victim alleged that it was the act of his brother who had some enmity over the property issue.
The police has started investigation.
