JAMMU, Nov 24: Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) today disconnected 43 connections in Gandhi Nagar and its adjoining areas for non-payment of dues.
On the directions of the Chief Engineer JPDCL Jammu, a team of the officials of Electric Sub Division-I JPDCL, Gandhi Nagar under the direct supervision of PD Singh, Executive Engineer, Electric Division 2nd JPDCL Gandhi Nagar conducted disconnection drive in Channi Himmat, Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Sainik Colony and adjoining areas.
During the drive, 43 domestic and commercial installations were disconnected due to non-payment of dues. The team urged all the electric consumers to clear their outstanding arrears if any at the earliest to avoid disconnections.
