JAMMU, Nov 24: One person was killed and three others were injured when two bikes collided with each other at Chowadi area of city outskirts.
“The mishap occurred late last night in which four persons including bike riders and pillions sustained injuries,” a police official said.
He said that the injured persons identified as Rakesh Kumar (50) alias Tony son of Chiru Ram of Birpur (Parmandal) and Anil Raina (26) son of Harbans Lal of Birpur, Manzoor (35) son of Said Ali (35) of Chenani and Ghulam Rasool son of Bashir of Chenani were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Rakesh (Tony) succumbed to his injuries at about 12:15 AM today.
After postmortem, the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while a case in this connection was registered in concerned police station and further investigation started.
