MUMBAI, May 25: Tecpro Systems today reported a decline of 12.26 per cent in standalone net profit to Rs 96.29 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.
The company had a net profit of Rs 109.74 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2010-11.
Net sales of the company, which is into engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business, was up 14.40 per cent to Rs 1,099.24 crore during the quarter vis-a-vis Rs 960.90 crore of the Q4 of FY’11, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Company’s total expenditure during the quarter was up 17.56 per cent to Rs 888.33 crore.
It did not provide the consolidated results for the January-March quarter.
For the full year 2011-12, the company’s consolidated net profit was down by over 7 per cent to Rs 123.11 crore, though its net sales were up over 28 per cent to Rs 2,532.04 crore.
The company board has recommended a dividend of 30 per cent or Rs 3 per share of Rs 10 each for FY’12.
During the last quarter, Tecpro acquired Eversun Energy Private Ltd for Rs 7.02 crore, the filing added.
