KARGIL, Nov 28: Three passengers and a driver were rescued after avalanche hit a Zylo car at Zojila on Srinagar-Leh highway today.
Official sources said that snow avalanche stormed into the vehicle No. JK07/ 4499 at Zojila during this afternoon in Sonamarg sector. Four persons including driver were onboard. The vehicle was trapped in the avalanche.
Immediately after receiving distress calls, the BRO men and machinery besides police team, moved to the site and rescued the trapped passengers safely. The vehicle was on way to Kargil from Srinagar.
