POONCH, May 3: Goods worth over Rs 1.94 crore, loaded in 56 trucks, crossed sides at the Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point today.
An official spokesman said that goods including bananas, tamarind and `Anardana’ loaded in 38 trucks, valuing over Rs 84 lakh were sent to POK by the traders from Indian side while 18 truck goods including dry dates, walnuts and almonds arrived here from that side. Its value was put at around Rs 1.10 crore. The LoC point was opened between 12.30 pm and 1 pm and then between 4 to 4.30 pm. Maqsood Hussain from Pakistan side and Paramjit Singh from Indian side acted as Trade Facilitation Officers.
