RAJOURI, Nov 29: A village in Thannamandi Sub Division of district Rajouri is without power supply for the last eight days.
The locals of the area alleged that the electric transformer installed by the PDD authorities at Hill Morha near Azmatabad in Thannamandi, went out of order about eight days ago. Some residents of the area approached the concerned field staff about the matter at Thannamandi but even after one week, the transformer was not replaced or repaired by the concered officials.
They said the village head also informed the SDM Thannamandi about the matter and requested for the early restoration of power supply to the village as the people are suffering during these chilling winter days due to power failure.
