JAMMU, Nov 29: Senior BJP and Kashmiri Pandit leader and Incharge, Department of Political Affairs and Feedback, J&K-BJP, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo has termed the statement of former Chief Minister and PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti as highly objectionable and instigating.
Lambasting PDP chief, he said she has virtually batted on behalf of Pakistan and other divisive forces. “It is absolutely unacceptable narrative which links every argument to a communal description” Chrungoo said.
He said it seems that frustration and desperation have overwhelmed the former CM who has litany of problems without solution. She needs to be reminded that terror and talks can’t go together in any circumstances, Chrungoo added.
Commenting on high turn out in District Development Council (DDC) elections, he said, “It is the dance of democracy that has triumphed in the festival of the first phase of (Zila Parishad) elections in the U T of Jammu and Kashmir “.
He said, “the enthusiasm of people despite severe cold in the UT and the percentage of voting strongly suggest that the three things which cost lives of one lakh of people in the erstwhile State at last have been buried deep down the ground in J&K for good i.e, Azadi, Autonomy & Articles 370 and 35A. People have already given and will further be giving an appropriate reply to Pakistan and the separatist forces through these important DDC, BDC and Panchayat elections”, he added.
