KATHUA, Dec 1: Former Minister, Ch. Lal Singh today said that this election is actually a rehearsal for a bigger agitation which Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party(DSSP) will launch in Jammu against the present regime for its draconian and anti people laws.
Launching blistering attack on the dismal performance of the Ministers of the BJP in the erstwhile State, Ch. Lal Singh said that it’s the time to evaluate the performance of everyone and then decide your vote. “Compare my performance as a Minister for Health and Forest with any of other ministers of any party in the erstwhile State and then decide your vote’’, said Ch. Lal Singh while addressing a huge gathering in support of his wife and DSSP candidate Kanta Andotra who is contesting DDC elections from Keediyan Gandyal, Kathua.
“My performance as a health and Forest Minister have created such a landmark in terms of facilities for the public that nobody could supersede and is remembered by all of you till today with great pride’’. It was only during his tenure that both these departments got big State awards for outstanding performance by the premier organizations of the country. Count a single achievement of the other ministers and even Ex. Dy. Chief Ministers of Jammu during their tenure and remember how they created big gap from the common man and even their party men were not having access to meet them, said Ch. Lal Singh.
Ex.MLA Kanta Andotra, while addressing said that she and her family is committed for the public service and she will do her best in all circumstances. She lambasted the present regime for its failure on every front and it has caused fear psychosis everywhere and resorting to destruction only. It’s there insecurity that they are trying to stifle the voice of everyone in one context or the other which is evident from the fact that this Government is depriving the small farmers of their only source in the form of small land holdings by draconian laws.
Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu general secretary of the party said that Ch. Lal Singh suffered and continues to suffer a lot because of his tough stand for the public well being and he will not succumb to any pressure whatever the price he has to pay but your support, love and affection for him is his strength and your single vote for the party will strengthen us to work more harder .
