Srinagar, Dec 2: A teenager died after he fell off from the top of a sumo in Larnoo village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag today.
The incident occurred in the evening when the youth who has been identified as Reyaz Ahmad Akhoon (18) son of Ghulam Mohammad Akhoon resident Gawran fell off from the roof of a passenger sumo bearing Registration number JK03C 0171.
Reports state that as the vehicle set into the motion, Reyaz fell off from it near Larnoo village of the district, resulting in multiple injuries to him.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead on arrival prompting the police to file a case and initiate a further investigation into the matter.
