JAMMU, Dec 3: Inhabitants of Ghagwal Town have appealed the Forest Department to plant trees along the National Highway as the whole Bazaar looks brazen without trees.
They urged that trees should be planted with the protection of iron cage to avoid any damage to them while growing. The inhabitants further requested the administration to revive the Ghagwal Narsing Temple pond which is dry for last many years.
Inhabitants further demanded construction of walking track around the pond and embedding iron chairs there for sitting of elderly persons as well as other walkers. They further urged for construction of at least two toilet complexes for walkers as well as for local shopkeepers.
