Y V Sharma quits Congress

JAMMU, Dec 5: Y V Sharma, former president of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a senior leader of Congress, today announced his resignation from all the positions of the party.
“I had been associated with Congress and was on various positions in the Party. Due to compelling reasons, I have decided to resign from all the positions of the Party. However, I will remain active in public life and will announce future course in the days to follow,” said Mr Sharma, in a brief statement issued, here today.
Pertinent to mention that Y V Sharma has been in public life for the past many years. He has championed the cause of trade and industry in Jammu as Secretary General and President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu, for many terms.
