KATHUA, Dec 7: In continuation to strict measures to thwart conspiracies of bovine smugglers, a team of Police Station (PS), Lakhanpur succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid and rescued 13 bovine animals.
As per reports a police team led by Inspector, Sanjeev Chib SHO PS. Lakhanpur during checking at truck terminal intercepted one truck bearing Registration Number JK08B-9671 illegally carrying bovines.
Police seized the vehicle and registered a case FIR No. 108/2020 U/S 188 IPC,11 PC Act against the unknown driver of truck. Further investigation into the case is going on.
