Excelsior Correspondent
Jammu, Dec 9: Campaigning for its party candidate, Swan Das for District Development Council (DDC) elections in Samba areas, Vikram Malhotra said that Apni Party was the only political party contesting DDC polls with the sole agenda of development and public welfare.
Malhotra said that on one hand, the Kashmir based political parties that ruled Jammu and Kashmir had only sold hollow slogans to the poor and innocent people of the state, while on other hand the BJP has been raising emotional bogey and taking votes from the people of Jammu but ignored the issues of the developments.
He observed that the Samba area was lacking development and other basic infrastructure. “All the roads are in a dilapidated condition and people still do not have any access to pure drinking water and electricity,” he said.
He urged the voters not be influenced by the hollow slogans, raised by the different political parties and to vote for the best candidate. He assured that if the Apni Party candidates were elected by the people for the upcoming DDC, we will ensure speedy development of the said areas.
Gaurav Kapoor, Party leader said that the overwhelming response of the people of Jammu towards Apni party was very encouraging and the party will reach out to all the sections of the society and become a voice for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
