JAMMU, Dec 10: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina has demanded extension of last date of submission of application form under PM’ s package for Kashmiri Migrant Youth as domicile certificates and migration certificates which are primarily required for submission of these forms.
The meeting made an appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha in this regard and sought his personnel intervention in the matter. It said due to increasing rush of applicants it is not possible to get these certificates at an earliest date.
Meanwhile, BJP district Anantnag vice president and Councilor, Mattan, Rakesh Koul has expressed his concern over the SSB’s decision asking the displaced youth to submit the Migration certificates. He said when the ration card is the proof of the migration what is the fun of submitting separate migration certificate. Koul, while expressing his resentment over the decision said some higher ups in the SSB are deliberately trying to sabotage the PM package for the migrants for their vested interests. He sought immediate intervention of LG in the matter.
