UDHAMPUR, Dec 11: Political outfits like NC, PDP, Congress and their ilk are opposing BJP for the sake of opposition otherwise they have no valid reason or issue to contest party’s dedication towards people.
This was stated by former DyCM and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta while addressing a series of election meetings in favour of party’s candidate for DDC polls at Tiari, Karimoo, Ghagate, Dalsar, Surni and Kanaha villages of Ramnagar constituency.
Gupta said that initiatives which BJP led dispensation has taken to ensure ‘fair deal’ to each and every citizen of the country with no prejudice or unfairness has raised hopes of people to such an extent that they are in no mood to gamble once again by believing the deceitful political outfits whether PAGD or Congress which made them suffer in the last over 70 years on one pretext or the other.
He said that progressive changes which took place in J&K after PM Narendra Modi led Government came to power included abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A, bringing J&K under direct control of the Centre, elimination of terror mongers, stronger vigil along borders, introduction of several laws which earlier were barred in the erstwhile J&K State due to Article 370 barrier.
“These developments convinced the people that BJP is the only party which values nationalism, public good and development the most,” the former DyCM said.
“It’s an irony, those who failed to fulfill their promises made with the people for decades are accusing BJP of not fulfilling its promises,” Gupta maintained urging the people to support BJP candidates so that the spree of development would continue.
R.S Pathania, Ex MLA; Bharat Bhushan, Ex MLA; Romesh Chander, Anat Ram, Capt Mohan Singh, Pawan Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Susheel Kumar, Raj Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar, Girdhari Lal, Ambo Ram, Yash Pal Gupta, Romeshwar, Ramjeet Kumar, Rattan Kumar and Sham Lal Verma were also present on the occasion.
