Basholi police recovers dead body

KATHUA, Dec 11: A youth was injured in accidental fire which went out of his single barrel Desi gun when he was cleaning it at his residence Malhar in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district .
He was identified as Dev Raj, 28, son of Krishan Chand of Malhar , Billawar. He has been shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment. He received injury in lower stomach but his condition is stated to be stable. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Post Malhar in this regard and investigation started.
In another incident a youth tried to commit suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan in Ward No 10 Kathua. He has been identified as Akash Chida, 20, son of Chand Missa of Ward No 10 Kathua . He has been shifted to GMC, Jammu from Kathua and his condition is stated to be critical. The Kathua police ahs registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
Meanwhile, Basholi police has recovered a dead body of a youth on the bank of a nallah beneath a hill in village Kote near Sheetal Nagri . The Basholi Police has registered a case under Section 174 in this regard and started investigation. The police has handed over the dead body to family after legal formalities for last rites.
