JAMMU, Dec 11: Two employees of Power Development Department (PDD) were electrocuted while doing some repair work inside Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) campus at Chak Bhalwal area, here today.
As per police sources, two PDD employees identified as Jagdev Singh (lineman), son of Suram Singh of Patta Khoo Burn and Parveen Kumar (need based employee), son of Naseeb Singh of Deharan were doing some electric repair work inside campus of Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) at Chak Bhalwal area when they got electrocuted.
Both were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where they were undergoing treatment when last reports came in.
A case under FIR Number 105/2020 under Sections 336 and 337 IPC has been registered against PDD officials and investigation started.
