Rulers come and rulers go. Governments come and Governments go. But the nation survives and should survive under all circumstances. And for this the voice of the people should be always heard whichever the Government is in power. When Indira Gandhi, the bold and able administrator, promulgated emergency in the country, the common people suffered miserably. But after the emergency when the elections where conducted Indira GandhiI suffered a huge setback by losing the elections miserably. In the democratic set up, people are the supreme. And any Government in power should remember that they have to face the elections. So the prime duty of the Government is to listen to the problems of the people and mitigate their sufferings. Dictatorial approach will definitely fail. It has very short age. The whole world has moved ahead and has mostly left behind the aristocratic and dictatorial approach.
